Terms of Service

BibSync provides technology that enables event organizers to create CPA campaigns and track partner-driven registrations. Partners promote events and earn commissions for verified registrations.

BibSync is a technology platform only. We do not organize events, manage registrations, or process payments. All financial transactions are handled exclusively through Stripe Connect.

You sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

Each account is associated with a single role: Organizer or Partner. You may not use the platform for purposes other than those associated with your role.

As an organizer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate campaign information, including event details, CPA rates, and budget
• Review partner-driven conversions in a timely manner using the Review & Pay model
• Complete payment for approved conversions through Stripe
• Comply with all applicable laws and event regulations
• Maintain active tracking integration for the duration of your campaigns

As a partner, you agree to:

• Promote campaigns honestly and transparently
• Not engage in fraudulent activity, including bot traffic, fake registrations, or click manipulation
• Comply with each campaign's specific rules and privacy settings
• Complete Stripe identity verification before receiving payouts
• Not misrepresent your relationship with event organizers

BibSync charges a platform fee (20% by default, configurable per organizer) on approved conversions. All money flows exclusively through Stripe Connect.

BibSync does not hold, transfer, or directly process any funds. Organizers pay for approved conversions via Stripe Checkout. Partners receive payouts through their connected Stripe accounts.

Payment timing, processing, and disputes related to Stripe transactions are governed by Stripe's terms of service.

BibSync is a technology intermediary. It connects organizers and partners but is not a party to their commercial relationship. By using BibSync, you acknowledge and agree that:

• BibSync is not responsible for unpaid commissions if an organizer fails to complete a payment. Payment disputes are strictly between the organizer and the partner.
• BibSync is not responsible for fraudulent activity by partners, including bot traffic or fake registrations. Organizers are solely responsible for reviewing conversions before approving payment.
• BibSync does not mediate disputes with third-party registration platforms, event venues, ticketing systems, or any service outside the BibSync platform.
• BibSync implements a TrustScore system and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate platform rules. However, enforcement actions do not create any liability for BibSync regarding prior or pending transactions.
• The conversion review tools (Review & Pay) allow organizers to approve or reject each conversion before any payment is triggered. This review step is the organizer's sole responsibility.

You may not:

• Generate fake clicks, registrations, or conversions
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to manipulate platform metrics
• Misrepresent your identity, audience, or promotional methods
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the platform
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the TrustScore or conversion review systems

BibSync and its associated branding, code, and technology are the property of BibSync. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without prior written consent.

You retain all rights to content you upload to the platform (campaign descriptions, media kits, profile information). By uploading content, you grant BibSync a limited license to display it within the platform.

BibSync is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BibSync shall not be liable for:

• Stripe service outages or payment processing failures
• Event cancellations or changes by organizers
• Non-payment by organizers for approved conversions
• Fraudulent activity by partners
• Issues with third-party registration platforms or event management systems
• Any dispute between organizers and partners
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

BibSync's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the platform fees paid by or to the claimant in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Either party may terminate their account at any time. BibSync reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or platform policies.

Upon termination, obligations related to pending payment cycles, approved conversions, and confidentiality survive. Active campaigns will be paused, and outstanding billing cycles must be settled through Stripe.

You agree to indemnify and hold BibSync harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the platform
• Your violation of these terms
• Disputes between organizers and partners
• Non-payment of approved conversions (for organizers)
• Fraudulent or misleading promotional activity (for partners)

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the EU member state where BibSync is established.

This section will be updated when BibSync is formally incorporated.

We may modify these terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active users via email or platform notification.
